NUALS Wins Stetson International Environment Law Moot Court Competition; NLIU Runners Up

A team from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi won the 24th edition of the prestigious Stetson International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition. A team from National Law Institute University, Bhopal, became the runners-up.

The 3-member team from NUALS consisted of Pranav Valiathan Pillai (5th year), Shilpa Prasad (5th year) and Ashna Devaprasad (3rd year).

Shilpa Prasad was adjudged as the second-best oralist in the competition. The team also bagged the prize for the Best Memorial. 

In the light of the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person oral arguments were cancelled and the rounds were held virtually during April 2 to 4.
