Allahabad High Court Celebrates Gandhi Jayanti: Senior Judge Highlights Relevance Of Mahatma's Legal And Far-Sighted Decisions

The Lucknow Bench of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad observed Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, 2025, with a solemn ceremony honouring the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The event was attended by the Hon'ble Senior Judge of the Lucknow Bench, officers of the Registry, and High Court employees.

Justice Mr. Rajan Roy, the Senior Judge of the Lucknow Bench, presided over the commemoration. The ceremony commenced with Justice Roy garlanding the bust of Mahatma Gandhi and paying homage, followed by the offering of floral tributes and the singing of the National Anthem. In his address, Justice Roy emphasized the enduring relevance of Gandhian philosophy and his monumental contribution to the country.
