Essential Qualification and Experience

Director of Prosecution

• Candidate must be a holder of a degree in law, from a recognized college/university.

• Candidate must be able to communicate in English, Nepali, and any other language of the State.

• Candidates should have been registered as an advocate in the Bar Council of the State.

• An Advocate having continuous practice of not less than 15 (fifteen years) in criminal cases or Serving or Retired Sessions Judge.

Assistant Directors of Prosecution

• Candidate must be a holder of a degree in law, from a recognized college/university.

• Candidate must be able to communicate in English, Nepali, and any other language of the State.

• Candidates should have been registered as an advocate in the Bar Council of the State.

• An Advocate having continuous practice of not less than 07 (seven years) in criminal cases or Serving or Retired Magistrate of the first class.
