In its meeting held on October 15, the Supreme Court collegium recommended the elevation of various Advocates and Judicial Officers as judges of the different high courts. Their names were notified today.

The following have been recommended as judges of the Guahati HC:

1. Soumitra Saikia, Advocate;

2. Parthivjyoti Saikia, Judicial Officer; and

3. S. Hukato Swu, Judicial Officer.

The following have been recommended as judges of the Jammu & Kashmir HC:

1. Moksha Kazmi (Khajuria), Advocate; and

2. Rajnesh Oswal, Advocate.

The following has been recommended as a judge of the Meghalaya HC:

1. Wanlura Diengdoh, Judicial Officer.

The following has been recommended as a judge of the Karnataka HC:

1. P. Krishna Bhat, Judicial Officer.
