Two new judges were sworn-in in the Telangana High Court this week.

Justice Moushumi Bhattacharya of the Calcutta High Court and Justice Sujoy Paul of the Madhya Pradesh High Court took charge.

Justice Moushumi had requested for transfer in February for personal reasons. The Supreme Court Collegium accepted the request and her transfer was notified by the Centre on March 18. She took charge in the Telangana High Court, today.

Justice Sujoy Paul on the other hand had requested for a transfer on February 12th on the ground that his son was practicing in the Madhya Pradesh High Court. His request was accepted and the Centre notified his transfer on 18th March. He took charge on 26th this month.
