CUSAT to hold workshop in association with MHRD

MHRD Chair on IPR along with School of Legal Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi’s Centre for IPR Studies is hosting a three day annual National Workshop for law students all over India on RETHINKING INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS 2017 from 8th to 10th February 2017. The theme for RIPR 2017 workshop is "Copyright Issues in the Entertainment Industry".  This workshop is being organised to initiate critical perspectives regarding the role of IPR in a social context, more specifically on how the digital advancement has directly or inversely affected the access and distribution of copyrighted content and will also cover the issues in the Entertainment Industry in the wake of new technologies.

Venue of the Workshop: Conference Hall, IUCIPRS, CUSAT

Important Dates:

Abstracts from students are invited, due date for the submission is 25th July.

Intimation for the selection of abstracts will be given on or before 5th August 2016.

The students are further required to sent the full paper by 15th October 2016
