ENSAYO 2013 – 5th South Asian Essay Writting Competition on International Humanitarian Law

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) Punjab, in association with the International Committee of Red Cross (Regional Delegation for South Asia at New Delhi organising a South Asian Essay writing for Students named Ensayo 2013. This year' s South Asian Essay Writing Competition is based on International Humanitarian Law.

The theme for this year’s edition of the competition is ‘Moving Beyond the Rhetoric: New Global & Domestic Challenges of Enforcement in IHL’.

Last date for submission of entry is 31st October 2013.

This year’s edition of the competition is open to students from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Iran, Pakistan and Sri Lanka who are enrolled in courses relating to Law, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Defence Studies, International Relations, Medical Sciences, Mass Media and Journalism.

There are prizes worth INR 50,000 to be won and further, each participant shall receive a Participant Certificate. The 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prizes are Rs. 25,000, Rs. 15,000 and  Rs. 10,000 respectievely.
