Hidayatullah National Law University Signs MOU With Institute Of Company Secretaries Of India

The Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for academic collaboration with Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in a function held at HNLU on Tuesday, 14 June 2022.
The MoU was signed by Prof.(Dr.) Uday Shankar, Registrar of HNLU and CS ShankyShantani, Chairman of the Raipur chapter of ICSI at Raipur.
The programme was done in hybrid mode with ICSI representatives of CS Sharad Kankani, Vice-Chairman; CS Tanveer Kaur Tuteja, Secretary; CS Shubham Kankani, Treasurer; CS Ashish Jain, Past Chairman from ICSI Raipur Chapter, and faculty members from HNLU participating at campus and National President of ICSI CS Devendra Vasant Deshpande addressing the gathering online from joining Delhi.
The MoU would also facilitate a comprehensive partnership in areas of joint academic research, joint workshops, professional development, faculty development programs, seminars, conferences along with sharing of resources.
Under the collaboration, the toppers of professional program of HNLU will be awarded ICSI signature award.
Prof. (Dr.) V.C.Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor of HNLU speaking at the function observed, " The corporate law interface with company secretaryship is a crucial aspect for law students to engage with and this MoU with ICSI will benefit mutually with its objectives and deliverables"
CS Devendra Vasant Deshpande highlighted that the signing of MoU was just a humble beginning towards a long-term association with HNLU.
