Delhi High Court Clears Proposal To Designate 85 Lawyers As Senior Advocates, 11 Women Among Those [Read Names]
The Delhi High Court on Thursday approved the proposal to designate 85 advocates as Senior Advocates.
The Committee who was part of the decision comprises Chief Justice, Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya, Justice V Kameswar Rao, Justice Nitin Wasudeo Sambre, Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) President N Hariharan, Additional Solicitor General Chetan Sharma and Senior Advocate Sanjay Jain.
The development happened today with the full court meeting being held this evening.
Out of the 86 names, 11 are women. Those are: Sangeeta Bharti, Abha Malhotra, Maneesha Dhir, Mamta Tiwari, Amrit Kaur, Beenashaw Nanda, Warisha Farasat, Rajeshwari N., Anju Bhattacharya, Kanika Aghotri and Manali Singhal.
