Supreme Court to consider Zee News anchor Rohit Ranjan against the multiple FIRs registered against him over an alleged doctored video of Rahul Gandhi's speech.

It was stated in the petition that multiple FIRs and complaints against the petitioner have been filed for telecasting a program namely "DNA" on Zee News on 01.07.2022, with respect to attack by certain miscreants on the party office of a political party in Kerala.

Senior Adv Siddharth Luthra appears for Ranjan. Says there are FIRs in Noida, Jaipur and Chhattisgarh over the show for the same offence. He adds that Ranjan had expressed apologies for the error in the show.
