  • DSNLU’s 3rd Arbitration Weekend [29th-30th Sept]

    The Centre for Advanced Research in Dispute Settlement (CARDS), Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), Vizag (India) is organsing the 3rd edition of ‘Arbitration Weekend 2018’, the annual domestic event hosted by CARDS at DSNLU, from 29th to 30th September 2018. CARDS has successfully conducted four events till date: two domestic ones at Vizag and two international events at London and Singapore, respectively.     The conference is moderated and designed to facilitate an intellectual dialogue in the form of deliberations between participants and practitioners in the field of domestic and international arbitration through an exchange of their experiences and thoughts on various topics. The conference aims to promulgate the scope of arbitration in India and discuss the issues involved and provide possible solutions keeping in mind international best practices.

    Eligibility: Participation in the conference is open to all: students, practitioners, academicians and others. The conference has a maximum capacity of 60 (sixty) participants only. Confirmation is on a first-come-first-serve basis. The final decision rests with management.

    Registration Fee: A registration fee of INR 6,000/- (Indian National Rupees Six Thousand only) per participant is applicable for candidates. This fee covers participants’ accommodation at a 3-star hotel, access to conference kit, networking dinner and meals/refreshments during the conference. On successful completion (i.e. attendance on all days for all sessions), all participants will be provided with a participation certificate.
