  • NLUJ’s Nat’l Seminar-Cum-Documentary Making Competition On Women’s Rights, Patriarchy And Legal Issues

    The Centre for Gender Studies at National Law University, Jodhpur will hold NLU Jodhpur National Seminar-cum-Documentary Making Competition, 2018, from 27th to 28th January 2018.

    Theme: Revisiting the Nexus of Women’s Rights, Patriarchy and Legal Issues



    1. Seminar


    Students may participate in the seminar either by presenting their paper on the theme or simply as attendees. Certificates shall be provided to all presenters and attendees. Further, the organisers may introduce a cash prize for the paper presentation.



    1. Documentary Making Competition


    Students may send an 8- 15 minute-long documentary on the theme. Certificates shall be provided to all participants. The three best documentaries shall be played at the event, and the winner shall receive cash prizes of Rs. 10,000, Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000.



    1. Interactive Panel Discussion


    An interactive panel discussion, with the objective of facilitating exchange of ideas on the theme, shall also be organised. Certificates of participation will be provided for the same.
