    • 5th DR. A T Markose Memorial National Moot Court Competition
    5th DR. A T Markose Memorial National Moot Court Competition is organized by School of Legal Studies CUSAT from 16th to 19th February, 2017. The competition is organized as a part of bigger event ‘YUKTHI-2017, National Law Fest’.

    Eligibility:

    The competition is open only for bona fide students of recognized Institutions/ Universities/Organizations who are currently pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in Law i.e. 3-Year LL.B. or5-Year LL.B. Integrated Program.

    Registration and Fees

    • Each team shall have a minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 members.

    • In case of the Moot Court Competition, provisional confirmation of teams should be confirmed and sent to yukthimootsls@gmail.com.

    • The provisional registration shall begin from 20th December, 2016.

    • Teams shall receive their respective team codes once the registration closes.

    • Final confirmation of all events including the Moot Court Competition shall be done by forwarding the application to yukthifest@gmail.com.

    • The desk registration shall begin at 3:00 pm on 17th February 2017 and shall close by 7.00 pm on the same day. All teams are mandatorily required to report for this process.

    • The Registration fee for the event is Rs. 1200/ per person.

    The participants shall make the payment within 10 days of receiving their registration confirmation or else their registration shall be CONSIDERED nullified.

    Timeline:

    • The event shall be conducted from 17th to 19th February, 2017.

    • Last date for submission of queries or clarifications to the moot problem by sending a mail to yukthimootsls@gmail.com on or before 25th January, 2017.

    • Each registered team shall submit the soft copy of the memorial in Pdf format to yukthimootsls@gmail.com on or before 11:59 p.m. of 31st January, 2017.

    • Each team shall send 4 copies of the memorial addressed to The Faculty Convener, A.T Markose Moot Court Competition 2017 School of Legal Studies Cochin University of Science and Technology Thrikkakara P.O. Kochi- 682 022 on or before 5th February, 2017.

    • Draw of lots and exchange of memorials shall take place on the evening of 17th February, 2017

    • Winner – Rs. 15,000

    • Runner Up Team – Rs. 10,000

    • Best Memorial Award – Rs. 6500

    • Best Speaker Award – Rs. 6500

    • Best Researcher Award- Rs. 6500


    All participants will be awarded participation certificates.
