  • 6th ILNU National Students Conference on “International Humanitarian Law and Refugee Law”
    Centre for International Humanitarian Law Studies and human rights of the Institute of Law, Nirma University has organized the fifth edition of its annual flagship event - ILNU National Students' Conference on “International Humanitarian Law and Refugee Law” on March 16th, 2017 at the Institute. The Conference has been conducted in association with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).


    The Conference was graced with the presence of eminent personalities such as Mr. Narinder Singh, Former Chairperson, International Law Commission, United Nations, Dr. Sunod M. Jacob, Regional Delegation for South Asia, ICRC, Ms. Teena Joseph, Asst. Refugee Status Determination (RSD) Officer, UNHCR, Dr. Anuradha M. Chenoy, Professor, Centre for Russian and Central Asian Studies, School of International Studies, JNU who also shared their insights on the various issues that were discussed in the conference.

    Winners from each session of the conference were awarded the best paper award. Their research papers will be published in the edited volume having ISBN No.
