  • All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2016 Dates Announced: May1, 2016

    National Law University, Delhi has invited applications for admission to B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. Programmes for the academic year 2016-17 commencing from August, 2016. The institute invites applications for three courses mainly:
    1.B.A.LL.B (Hons) –Five Years Programme
    2.LL.M- One Year
    3.Ph.D.

    B.A.LL.B (Hons)

    The students who have passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) or Equivalent Examination with 50% of marks are eligible to apply. The students who are appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2015 can also apply.  Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in qualifying examination.

    The age limit is below 21 years as on July 1, 2016. The age limit for SC/ST students is 23 years.
    The total number of seats is 80.70 seats on merit through AILET and 10 seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit. 15% seats are reserved for Schedule Caste, 7.5% for Schedule Tribe, and 3% for Persons with Disabilities.

    One additional seat is offered to Kashmiri migrants. The candidate has to appear in AILET and complete the eligibility criteria as applicable.

    LL.M

    The students who have LL.B or an Equivalent Degree with 55% marks, 50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability, may apply. The candidates appearing in LL.B examination in April/May 2016 can also apply. Total number of seats is 45 + 5 for Foreign Nationals. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET.  15% seats are reserved for Schedule Caste, 7.5% for Schedule Tribe, and 3% for Persons with Disabilities.

    Ph.D.

    The students who have completed their LL.M. Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability) are eligible to apply. For detailed eligibility conditions visit University website www.nludelhi.ac.in

    Fees & Mode of Payment

    Interested candidates should apply only online on payment of Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) for General Candidates, Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One thousand only) in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability (PD) excluding service charges along with copy of requisite Caste/Person with Disability Certificate. Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category are exempted from application fee.

    How to Apply

    The students should apply only online for admission up to April 7, 2016.The admit cards will be available online w.e.f. April 14, 2015 on the websites.
