  • Asia-Pacific Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition

    The National Law School of India University will be hosting the Asia-Pacific Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition, from May 5-8, 2016.

    The IISL introduced the Asia Pacific Regional Round of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition in 1999. The winner of this round represents the Asia-Pacific region at the World Finals, which takes place in the framework of the IISL's annual Colloquium, a contained event of the International Astronautical Congress.

    The International Institute of Space Law (IISL) was founded in 1960. The purposes and objectives of the Institute include the cooperation with appropriate international organisations and national institutions in the field of space law and the carrying out of tasks for fostering space law development.

    The Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition began in 1992 and is organised annually by the International Institute of Space Law.

    The last date for registration is January 31, 2016.
