A Contempt petition filed in the Supreme Court against Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag Kumar IPS alleging that the Police indulged in indiscriminate violence against individuals in Delhi yesterday violating the principles laid down by the Supreme Court.

Petitioner, Advocate Amit Prasad, alleges that the police detained and assaulted several unarmed citizens, that they were not wearing name tags, and many women were manhandled by male officers.
