  • Call for Papers : International Legal Compendium

    The International Legal Compendium is a Journal initiated under the flagship of Legal Rowers. It has been brought into being with an objective of developing quality research in the field of law and to enhance the worth of genuine research. The Journal aims at providing a platform to students, academia, scholars and professionals in multi-disciplinary legal growth.
    Keeping in mind the same we call for originality from contributors for Vol. 1 Issue 1 of ILC. The journal would be consisting of Articles, Legal Notes, Case Remarks and Book Review on contemporary legal issues.

    RESEARCH PAPERS

    The section for Research Papers includes any research work covered under the ambit of the journal and ranging between limits of 3000-5000 words inclusive of the footnotes. It is advisable to choose a contemporary comprehensive theme, though not compulsory.

    LEGAL NOTES

    The section for Legal Notes include short legal essays on recent legal trends, awareness about any sphere of law which is valuable in the field of law. The word limits for a Legal Note ranges from 2500-3000 words inclusive of footnotes.

    CASE REMARKS 

    The section for case remarks include detailed critical analysis on any relevant contemporary pronouncement. The word limit for case remarks is 1000-1500 words inclusive of footnotes.

    BOOK REVIEW

    The section for book review should give a comprehensive critical exploration for the recent legal fluctuations. The word limit for this section is 1000-1500 words.

    SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

    All research works have to be submitted in the font theme Times New Roman Size 12 with Margin of 1 inch on every side of the document and line spacing of 1.5.

    The citation method to be followed by the Authors is any recognized uniform citation method.

    The manuscript has to be accompanied by a cover letter stating the Name, Designation, Affiliation, Address, Email-id and Contact number.

    Any plagiarized, misrepresented work or multiple submissions would amount to rejection and will not be considered for publication. Submitted manuscripts must not have been sent for consideration at any other place for presentation or publication and if sent, it should be communicated prior to submission of the manuscript.

    Only after being reviewed on the formatting stage by our Editorial board the work of the Author/s would be considered for publication.

    Authorship: Co-authorship is allowed up to maximum of three co-authors (main + two) for Research Papers and maximum of two co-authors (main + one) for legal notes, case remarks and book review.

    Abstract: Submission for research paper should be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 350 words with significant key words sent with the manuscript, which will label the relevant conclusions drawn in the manuscript.

    Theme: International Legal Compendium entails a multi-disciplinary approach in relation with the contemporary legal issues and for fulfilling this purpose there is no boundary on the area of law and manuscripts covering any area of law are welcomed.

    After the selection process is over the Author/s will be intimidated, those who are selected for publication, have to pay a sum of 1200 INR (single author), 1600 INR (two authors), 2000 INR (three authors) for confirming the publication. The rights to alter, change or amend the manuscript will vest with the Editorial Board.
