COUNSELLING GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION THROUGH CLAT 2016
The admission to UG and PG programme in participating National Law Universities under CLAT-2016 shall be done through centralised counselling conducted by CLAT-2016 office. The basis of allotment of seats shall be ‘merit-cum-preference’, i.e., CLAT-2016 score and order of preference given by the candidate in the CLAT-2016 application form. Online counselling shall start from 1st June, 2016. The entire procedure shall be completed as per the CLAT-2016 calendar, which is available on CLAT-2016 website www.clat.ac.in
STEP 3Publication of second list having the names of finalized candidates after payment of counselling fee and additional waitlisted candidates (13th June, 2016)
STEP 4Publication of third list allotting seats to candidates (20th -22nd June, 2016)
STEP 5Completion of admission formalities at the allotted NLUs (23rd-25th June, 2016)
STEP 6Publication of fourth and final allotment list (29th June, 2016)
STEP 7Completion of admission formalities at the allotted NLUs against fourth allotment list (4th-6th July, 2016)
In case of a waitlist candidate failing to get a seat in any of the NLUs due to non availability of vacancy, the entire amount of Rs. 50,000/- deposited by such candidate shall be refunded to them without any deduction.
