    Speakers:

    • Geeta Luthra, Senior Advocate

    • Thank you note by Sh. Inderbir Alag, Senior Advocate

The lecture will be followed by high tea at the Lawyers’ Canteen, Delhi High Court.

The topic assumes significance since lawyers are not only engaged with this issue because to make our courts sexual-harassment free and gender sensitive, but they also represent complainants and the accused people.

This movement has brought into the courtrooms and public domain things that were only acknowledged and whispered in secrecy. And therefore the consequences of this movement, that has seen thousands of allegations by both men and women of sexual harassment against very powerful people, have raised many legal issues of both substantive and procedural law. The lecture aims to initiate debate and discussion regarding the same.
