    The P.C. & P.N.D.T. Act, 1994 is not a mere legislation but a national movement and a countrywide program enacted to stop female foeticides and to restrict and control the declining sex ratio in India. It has been studied that the declining sex ratio has severely affected the social structure of India and many consequences and further contemplated if the similar situation persist and in view of the same, such legislations are pivotal.
