MP State Legal Services Authority Launches "Informative Display Boards" [23rd September 2021]

Under the Nationwide special project of NALSA with Postal Department, Justice Mohammad Rafiq, The Chief Justice & Patron-in-Chief, MP State Legal Services Authority launched "Informative Display Boards" on 23rd September 2021 in the august presence of Justice Prakash Shrivastava, Executive Chairman, M.P. State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur, and other Hon'ble the Companion Judges of M.P. High Court. "Informative Display Boards" prepared by MPSLSA for dissemination of information on Legal Aid Services to the public at large in collaboration with Department of Posts across the State of Madhya Pradesh. On this occasion, Shri Rajendra Kumar Vani Registrar General M.P. High Court, Shri Dharminder Singh Rathod, Member Secretary, MP State Legal Services Authority, Mr. Jitendra Gupta ,Chief Postmaster General M.P. Circle, Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, Additional Secretary and other dignitaries were also present in above programme . M.P. State Legal Services Authority and the Postal Department coordinated & collaborated for publicity of schemes related to legal aid services through" Informative Display Boards" for the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act 2012 (POCSO), Criteria for giving legal Services under Section 12 of Legal Services Authority Act 1987 and about the rights of common people or person arrested by police and other schemes qua Madhya Pradesh Crime Victim Compensation Scheme 2015, availability of NALSA's Legal Services App etc. The " Informative Display Boards" would be display at each and every post offices across the state. Through these Informative Display Boards information regarding Free Legal Aid Services, Rights and Duties will be provided to the weaker sections of society upto remote areas through Post Offices. Along with this, information regarding services available through NALSA Mobile Legal Services Application will also be made available to the public.
