It was established by the Palkhivala Foundation to promote institutional arbitration in India, in response to the burden on Indian courts and the need for timely dispute resolution. By offering infrastructure and arbitration-friendly services, NPAC has emerged as a centre in the field of institutional arbitration and is committed to developing arbitration practices in India.
