    Nyaya Shastra, a full-service law firm, successfully organised its 3-Day 2nd Nyaya Shastra Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2026 from April 10 to April 12, 2026, with Live Law as the Exclusive Media Partner and Legal Eagle as the Finance Partner.

    The competition witnessed participation from 44 teams representing 30 law institutions across the country. The event focused on a contemporary criminal law proposition, requiring participants to demonstrate analytical precision, structured reasoning, and persuasive advocacy.

    The Preliminary Rounds held on April 10, 2026 were conducted before a panel of judges including Ms. Tilaka, Ms. Shivani Gupta, Mr. Naganathan Iyer, Dr. Suresh Kumar, Ms. Sakshi Kothari, Ms. Bhumi Tandon, Mr. Abhishek Varshney, Mr. Sharon I. Princilly, Ms. Stuti Bhandari, Ms. Jyothi P. M., Ms. Vaishali R. Tyagi, Ms. Shivakshi Arora, Ms. Gayathri A., Ms. Kirti Verma, and Ms. Purnima Naik. Sixteen teams advanced to the Octa-Final stage.

    The Octa-Final and Semi-Final Rounds were conducted on April 11, 2026. The Semi-Finals featured four teams: NSMC 09 (National Law University, Tripura), NSMC 20 (Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab), NSMC 36 (Asian Law College), and NSMC 43 (O.P. Jindal Global University). Following the rounds, NSMC 36 and NSMC 43 advanced to the Final.

    The Final Round held on April 12, 2026 was adjudicated by Adv. Kylasanath Pillay, Adv. K. V. Muthu Kumar, Adv. Pravin Kumar Hota, Mrs. Pragnya S. Patil, and Ms. Jyothi P. M. The finalist teams—NSMC 36 (Asian Law College) and NSMC 43 (O.P. Jindal Global University)—presented their arguments before the bench.

    At the Valedictory Ceremony held on April 12, 2026, Team NSMC 43 from O.P. Jindal Global University was declared the Winner, while Team NSMC 36 from Asian Law College was the Runner-Up. The award for Best Memorial was given to NSMC 42 from Christ University, Bangalore, and Ms. Anushka Tatia from O.P. Jindal Global University was adjudged Best Speaker.

    The competition concluded with participation from members of the legal fraternity and the leadership of Nyaya Shastra, marking the successful completion of the event.
