Government Law College Mumbai has announced its inaugural Startup Fest, a certified one-day event.

The “Startup Fest”, made possible by Anand & Anand & Khimani, is a certified one-day event which brings expert lectures, panel discussions and an elevator pitch competition all under one roof. The event will bring together founders, bankers, lawyers and others involved in the startup ecosystem.

    Date: March 31, 2018

Time: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Registration Fee: ₹100 (includes lunch and participant kit)

Venue: Room 11, Govt. Law College, 'A' Road, Opposite Churchgate Railway Station, Churchgate, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400020

The daylong event will feature sessions that will guide entrepreneurs, and would-be entrepreneurs, alike, on their journey of innovation, and will conclude with an elevator pitch competition.

The fest will bring together founders, lawyers, mentors and other stakeholders in the startup ecosystem.

Speakers include Kiran Reddy, a serial entrepreneur and a former director of the Mumbai chapter of Startup Grind; Suhas Baliga, Principal Innove Law Ventures; Raunak Kapoor, presenter ESPN; and Neeraj Churi, Start-up mentor, former SVP Citi, London.

The tentative schedule includes sessions on actualising an idea, an entrepreneur's journey, startups and lawyers: a symbiotic relationship, what investors look for in a start-up, besides a panel discussion on unconventional and alternate careers.
