Gujarat High Court Designates Four Lawyers As Senior Advocates

The Gujarat High Court on Friday (January 9) notified the designation of four lawyers as senior advocates which also includes one woman lawyer.

A notification issued by the high court states:

"In exercise of powers conferred by Section 16 (2) of the Advocates Act, 1961 read with the High Court of Gujarat (Designation of Senior Advocates) Rules, 2025, the Hon'ble the Chief Justice and Hon'ble Judges of the High Court of Gujarat in the Full Court Meeting held on 08th January, 2026, have unanimously resolved to designate the following Advocates as Senior Advocate from the date of this Notification..."

The four advocates designated as senior advocates are:

1. Mr. Amar Niranjan Bhatt

2. Mr.Apurva Sharad Vakil

3. Ms. Megha Bhupendra Jani

4. Mr. Mitul Kirit Shelat
