J&K&L High Court Constitutes Ad-Hoc Managing Body For Registration Of Judicial Officers Association

The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has constituted an ad-hoc managing body to oversee the registration and transitional functioning of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Judicial Officers Association.
The order issued by the Office of the Registrar General on Thursday, follows previous High Court orders on the subject and the ad-hoc managing body comprises the following judicial officers:
· President: Naseer Ahmad Dar, District Judge
· Vice-President: Jatinder Singh Jamwal, District Judge
· General Secretary: Chemit Yurgyal, Civil Judge (Senior Division)
· Treasurer: Babar Hussain, Civil Judge (Senior Division)
Other members include:
1. Manjeet Singh Manhas, District Judge
2. Malik Shabir Ahmad, District Judge
3. Yash Paul Sharma, District Judge
4. Ms. Spalzes Angmo, District Judge
5. Prem Sagar, District Judge
6. Ms. Mehreen Mushtaq, District Judge
7. Ms. Rekha Kapoor, Civil Judge (Senior Division)
8. Mohammad Istiyaq Alam Baba, Civil Judge (Senior Division)
9. Ms. Shama Sharma, Civil Judge (Senior Division)
10. Towfeel Ahmad Mir, Civil Judge (Junior Division)
11. Arshad Aziz Qureshi, Civil Judge (Junior Division)
The order explicitly states that the ad-hoc body shall function for three months from the date of registration of the Association.
