High Court Of Jammu & Kashmir And Ladakh Designates 15 Lawyers As Senior Advocates

The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has designated sixteen lawyers as Senior Advocates following approval by the Full Court.
The designations were made in terms of Rule 3(v) of the "Criteria for Designating Senior Advocates, 2023" issued by the High Court.
The advocates designated as Senior Advocates are
1. Arifa Jan,
2. Ajay K. Gandotra,
3. Muzaffar Iqbal Khan,
4. Rozina Afzal,
5. Pran Nath Bhat,
6. Abdul Rashid Malik,
7. Monika Kohli,
8. Adarsh Kumar Sharma,
9. Pawan Kumar (Kundal),
10. Mandeep Reen,
11. Radha Sharma,
12. Ajay Pal Singh,
13. Anshuja Sharma Tak,
14. Manzoor Ali
15. Vikas Mangotra.
A Full Court of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh approved the recommendations for designation of Senior Advocates, following which Notification was issued by the Office of the Registrar General.
Pursuant to applications and recommendations received by the High Court Secretariat for designation of Senior Advocates, a preliminary scrutiny was conducted. Reports were requisitioned from different offices and agencies, which were received and examined. The Full Court thereafter approved the recommendations for designation.
The designations were made strictly in accordance with the "Criteria for Designating Senior Advocates, 2023" issued by the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. The process involved preliminary scrutiny of applications followed by requisition of reports from various offices and agencies before the matter was placed before the Full Court for final approval.
