Two Additional Judges Of Jammu & Kashmir And Ladakh High Court Made Permanent

The Central Government has issued a notification appointing the following two additional judges of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court as permanent judges of the HC:

1. Justice Rahul Bharti

2. Justice Moksha Ithajuria Kazmi

A notification issued by the Ministry of Law & Justice in this regard reads thus: 

"In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Shri Justice Rahul Bharti and (ii) Ms. Justice Moksha Ithajuria Kazmi, Additional Judges of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, to be Judges of that High Court, in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices."

Earlier this month, the Collegium of the Supreme Court recommended the names of the aforementioned two Additional Judges of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court for their appointment as permanent judges.
