Senior Advocate Pawan Kumar Mutneja is appointed as new Advocate General of Haryana.

"In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 165(1) of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Haryana is pleased to appoint Sh. Pawan Kumar Mutneja, Senior Advocate, Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, as Advocate General for the State of Haryana with immediate effect," the Haryana Administration of Justice Department state in the notification.

The post fell vacant after the former Advocate General Pravindra SinghChauhan, had been elevated as an additional judge of the Punjab & Haryana High Court.
