  • ILNU Holds Open House Session on ‘Legal Education and Career Prospects in Law’

    Institute of Law, Nirma University recently held an Open House session on ‘Legal Education in India and Career Prospects in Law’ where CLAT aspirants and their parents discussed future prospects of legal education.

    The themes addressed in the Open House were:



    • Innovation of New Pedagogy in Legal Education

    • Clinical Legal Education

    • Role of Internships

    • Career Opportunities in Law

    • Role of Legal Education in Performing Legal Reforms


    Prof Dr.Purvi Pokhariyal, Director and Dean, ILNU, appraised the students regarding growing demand for law professionals, and opportunities for young legal minds. The opportunities are manifold: litigation, corporate law firms, judicial services, law enforcement, legal consultancy, legal journalism, client counselling etc. She also highlighted the institute’s initiatives in bridging the gap between theory and practice through relevant curriculum and innovative pedagogy. The event was coordinated by Prof. Vijay Kumar.
