Savitri Phule Ambedkar Caravan (SPAC), a student body of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, is working towards creating a platform for discussion on issues of minorities.

As part of their endeavour to increase dialogue within the campus and the society, the SPAC has invited Irom Chanu Sharmila to their campus for a session on ‘Human Rights Issues under AFSPA in Manipur’.

The event is open to the public to facilitate greater dialogue.

There is no registration fee for the event.

Further, a candlelight vigil in the memory of all those fallen as a result of atrocities under the Armed Forces Special Powers Act shall follow.
