Essential Qualification and Experience

Assistant Law Officer

• Officers of Central / State Government / Union Territory / Recognized Research Institute / Autonomous bodies / Statutory Bodies / PSUs: (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis or (ii) having atleast five years of regular services in posts in Level 6 (Rs 35400-112400/-) of Pay Matrix and
• Possessing bachelor's degree in law from a recognized University/Institution.
• Four years' experience as Legal practitioner, or four-year experience in handling legal work in a Government Department /PSUs/ Autonomous bodies/ Statutory body.

Legal Assistant

• Officers of Central / State Government / Union Territory / Recognized Research Institute /Autonomous-bodies / Statutory Bodies/PSUs: (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; or (ii) with three years of regular service after appointment to the post on regular basis in Level 6 (Rs 35400-112400/-) in Pay Matrix or equivalent;
• Degree in Law from a recognized University;
