Telangana State Judicial Services invites online application for the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division) for Direct Recruitment and Recruitment by Transfer.

Essential Qualification and Experience
· Direct Recruitment: As per Rule 2(f) of the Telangana State Judicial (Service and Cadre) Rules 2023, "Direct Recruitment" means appointment of a person; who is not in the service of the Government of India or the Government of the State; to any category in the service through the process of inviting applications directly from all eligible and qualified persons. A person to be appointed to the category of Civil Judge (Junior Division) - Shall posses a Degree in Law of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission and enrolled in the Bar Council as an Advocate.
· Must have been practicing as an Advocate or Pleader in the High Court (High Court means, High Court for the State of Telangana) or Courts working under the control of the High Court (High Court means, High Court for the State of Telangana) for a period of not less than 3 years as on the date of Notification for recruitment to the post i.e. 01.12.2025. In proof of practice, candidate shall produce certificate to that effect duly certified either by the Principal Judicial Officer of that Court or by an Advocate of that Court having a minimum standing of 10 years duly endorsed by the Principal Judicial Officer of such District or Principal Judicial Officer at such station. The candidates' who are practicing before the High Court, shall produce certificate, certified by an Advocate who has a minimum standing of 10 years duly endorsed by the Registrar (Judicial - I), High Court for the State of Telangana, who is the Officer designated by the High Court. 1) Three (03) years of actual practice means from the date of their provisional enrollment/registration with the State Bar Council. 2) The experience of the candidates which they have gained while working as Law Clerk/Research Assistant (Law) with any of the Judges or Judicial Officers in the country shall be considered while calculating their total number of years of practice.
· Recruitment By Transfer: A person to be appointed to the category of Civil Judge (Junior Division) by recruitment by transfer: Must hold a Degree in Law awarded by any University established by Law in India, or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission, and which is valid for enrollment as an Advocate as per the Rules of the Bar Council of India and, a person to be appointed in this category must maintain good character and conduct in the entire service.
