Essential Qualification and Experience

· Candidate should have 7+ years of legal experience.

· Candidate should have 7+ years of commercial agreements experience.

· Candidate should have Law degree from recognized institution; Bar admission required.

· Candidate should have 7-14 years of legal experience in financial services/technology sectors.

· Proven expertise in regulatory compliance and policy advocacy.

· Excellence in stakeholder management.

· Experience in e-commerce or financial technology preferred.

· Preferred: (a) 7-14 years of legal experience with focus on financial services regulations, (b) Strong background in financial technology and compliance, (c) Deep understanding of financial services regulations, (e) Knowledge of financial technology operations, (f) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, (g) Experience in policy advocacy, (h) Project management capabilities, and (i) Excellent documentation skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Financial Operations: (a) Lead legal compliance for finance and accounting service offerings, (b) Manage regulatory requirements for financial service providers, (c) Oversee compliance with data protection and security regulations, (d) Structure legal frameworks for new financial initiatives, and (e) Maintain ongoing compliance and regulatory reporting

· FAAS and Technology: (a) Drive legal oversight for India's unique marketplace model of financial tools and services, (b) Ensure compliance with independence requirements for third-party service providers, (c) Adapt worldwide policies to India's marketplace model, (d) Review and structure service provider agreements, and (e) Support FinOps teams on compliance and efficiency initiatives.

· Impact & Scope: (a) Support multiple L8 leaders and numerous L7 business leaders, (b) Drive critical regulatory relationships, (c) Manage complex financial compliance frameworks, and (d) Lead financial technology infrastructure compliance initiatives.
