Name of the Post: Electricity Ombudsman

Essential Qualification and Experience

• The candidate experience and exposure in a specific field like Legal Affairs, Engineering, Industry, Finance, Administration, Management, Defence Services or Consumer Affairs.
• Legal Affairs: The applications should have experience as Presiding Officer at the level of District Judge for at least two years. OR Advocate having practice at least 7 years.
• Industry/Engineering/Finance: The applicant should have experience of working for Electricity Utility as Superintending Engineer and above or CFO/Executive Director/ Director in a PSU/Utility/Regulatory Commission for at least two years.
• Administrative/ Management/ Defence Services: The applicant should have experience of working at the level of Additional Secretary to the State Government or Joint Secretary to Central Government or Brigadier or equivalent in an organized security force for at least two years.
• Consumer Affairs: The applicant should have experience as a Presiding Officer in Consumer Forum for at least two years.
