Essential Qualification and Experience

• Be enrolled with the Bar Council of India/ State Bar Council and be actively practicing law.
• The applicant must possess at least a bachelor's degree in law from a recognized University in India.
• The applicant should have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience for Hon'ble High Courts and various benches of Hon'ble CAT. However, for district level courts and other forums, the applicant should have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• The applicant should have sound professional reputation, good communication skills and adequate office infrastructure such as accessible office/chamber, staff and communication facilities.
• Preferably have experience in handling Labour Laws, Social Security Laws, Service Matters and allied legislations.
• Be capable of representing ESIC before High Court, Employees' Insurance Courts, District & Subordinate Courts, Magistrate Courts, Labour Courts, Consumer Forum, Tribunals (including CAT) and Other Courts.
• (Be well conversant with the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948/ Code on Social Security, 2020 Rules, Regulations, Labour Codes and other relevant laws.
