    Essential Qualification and Experience

    Kerala

    • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized University in India.
    • Must be enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India and must be in active practice at bar.
    • Experience for appointment as Senior Panel Counsel (SPC): Minimum of 10 years of professional experience for Hon'ble High Courts and various benches of Hon'ble CAT.
    • Experience for appointment as Panel Counsel in EI Court, District & Subordinate courts and other Judicial/Quasi-Judicial Forums: Minimum five (05) years of regular practice standing at the Bar.
    • The applicant should have sound professional reputation, good communication skills and adequate office infrastructure such as accessible office/chamber, staff and communication facilities.
    • Applicant should be capable of representing ESIC before Employees' Insurance Courts, Magistrate Courts, Labour Courts, Consumer Fora, CAT, High Courts and other Courts or Tribunals.
    • Applicant should be well conversant with the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948, Code on Social Security, 2020, Rules, Regulations, Labour codes and other relevant laws.
    • Desirable: (a) Experience in handling Labour Law cases, Social Security Laws, Service Matters and allied legislation, (b) LLM (master's degree in law) shall be preferred.

    Andhra Pradesh

    • Be enrolled with the Bar Council of India/State Bar Council and be actively practicing law.
    • Possess a minimum of five (05) years of regular practice and standing at the Bar.
    • Preferably have experience in handling Labour Laws, Social Security Laws, Service Matters and allied legislations. (d) Be capable of representing ESIC before Employees' Insurance Courts, Magistrate Courts, Labour Courts, Consumer Fora, CAT, High Courts and other Courts/Tribunals.
    • Be well conversant with the Employees' State Insurance Act, 19481 code on Social Security, 2020, Rules, Regulations, Labour codes and other relevant laws.
