    About the Organisation

    • Navneet & Company, led by the seasoned insolvency professional Mr. Navneet Gupta, is expanding its team and seeking Associates to contribute to its Insolvency & Bankruptcy practice at its Chandigarh office. With a history of practising under the IBC since its inception, Mr. Gupta has been managing assignments under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016, showcasing his adeptness in navigating the complexities of the Code.

    Essential Qualification and Experience

    • The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in law or be a qualified or semi-qualified Company Secretary/Chartered Accountant/Cost & Management Accountant. Candidates pursuing Graduate Insolvency Program can also apply.

    • A foundational understanding of the CIRP and Liquidation procedures under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code will be highly regarded. Candidates should embody the highest standards of honesty, integrity, exhibit confidence and demonstrate a keenness to learn and tackle challenges. Excellent behaviour, proficiency in English—both written and spoken—and a solid grasp of Microsoft Office tools are essential.

    • Candidates having at least one year of post qualification experience will be preferred.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • The role of an Associate shall involve a multifaceted approach to supporting the Insolvency Professional (IP) in various capacities. This includes assisting in drafting legal documents, reports etc., for submission to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), preparing agendas and minutes for creditor meetings, and reporting to regulatory bodies. Associates will also be instrumental in drafting petitions, applications, and replies, as well as managing daily communications with stakeholders, all while providing steadfast support throughout the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) and Liquidation process. With opportunities for those with 1-4 years of experience.
