Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D) invites application for the post of Assistant Director (Law) purely on deputation basis at BPR&D Headquarters, and its six outlying units located at Bhopal, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Ghaziabad.

Name of the Post: Assistant Director (Law)

Essential Qualification and Experience

• Deputation (including short term contract): Officers under Indian Police Service or Officers under Central or State Government or Judicial or Legal Service or Government Counsel or Universities or Law Schools or autonomous or private organisations: (a)(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department; or (ii) with five years‟ regular service in the pay level-11(Rs. 67,700-2,08,700/-) in the pay matrix in parent cadre or department; and

• Bachelor's degree in Law from recognised University or Law School;

• For IPS officers one year and for other three years‟ experiences Government Counsel in Criminal Law or handling Criminal Law or law faculty teaching Criminal Law;

• Interested candidates are required to submit in their applications from suitable officers who are eligible, willing and can be relieved immediately, if selected, may please be forwarded to the Assistant Director (Estt), Bureau of Police Research & Development, NH -8, Mahipalpur, New Delhi-110037 or Email at [email protected], along with complete and up to date APAR Dossiers of the officers (for the last 05 years), within a period of 60 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News (13th July 2021).

• Applications received after the last date or without through proper channel or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered. While forwarding the application, it may also be verified and certified that the particulars furnished by the officers are correct and no disciplinary case is either pending or contemplated against them. The integrity of the officer may also be certified.
