Bharat Broadband Network Limited invites application for the post of Consultant from retired officers on superannuation including VR (Voluntary Retired) officers who have attained the age of 60 years as on date of advertisement from Central/ State Government Department/ CPSUs/ Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body for engagement.

Essential Qualification and Experience

• Degree in Law from a recognized University

• At least 20 years of experience in the legal department

• Providing legal advice in internal matters of BBNL including service matters and Labour issues.

• Attending Court/ Arbitration hearings, various meetings with Advocates / Sr. Advocates / ASG / SG as and when required & Coordination with counsels for preparation of pleadings.

• Tracking of RTI and disposal thereof.

• Processing bills of the Legal department including arbitration and Court fees.

• Drafting of various internal communications including Office Orders/ Circulars.

• Review and drafting of legal documents including agreements, MoU, PoA, Authority Letters etc.

• Enabling the procedure for empanelment of Advocates/ Law Firms.

• Other work as may be assigned by CS & Head Legal or higher authorities from time to time.
