    Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), on behalf of the Central Board, Employees Provident Funds, a statutory body of the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, proposes to engage Panel Counsel (s) to represent the Central Board, EPF before High Court, Administrative Tribunal, and other courts (District Courts, Lower courts, and DCDRF) in the North East Region.

    Essential Qualification and Experience

    Qualification and experience for conducting cases in High Court.

    • Be enrolled/registered as an advocate with the State Bar Council.

    • Have a minimum, relevant experience of Ten years of handling Civil, Criminal, Service, Labour, Arbitration matters and other cases before a High Court with a fair knowledge of Labour laws with special reference to Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 [E.P.F. and M.P. Act, 1952).

    Qualification and experience for conducting cases in CAT

    • Be enrolled/registered as an advocate with the State Bar Council.

    • Have a minimum, relevant experience of Ten years of handling Civil, Criminal Service. Labour, Arbitration matters, and other cases before a High Court with a fair Knowledge of labour laws with special reference to Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (E.P.F. and M.P. Act, 1952).

    Qualification and experience for conducting cases in District courts, Lower Courts and DCDRF

    • Be enrolled/ registered as an advocate with the State Bar Council.

    • Have a minimum, relevant experience of Ten years of handling Civil, Criminal Service, Labour, Arbitration matters, and other cases before a High Court with a fair Knowledge of labour Laws, Consumer Protection, and affairs with special reference to Employees Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (E.P.F. and M.P. Act, 1952).

    How to apply?

    • The interested advocate must submit an application in the format prescribed Annexure "A" and Annexure in "B" enclosed in the official notification, along with all sealed envelopes to Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, EPFO. Zonal Office. North East Zone, Bahavishya Nidhi Bhawan, G.S. Road, Bhangagarh, Guwahati Assam – 781005.

    • The envelope should be superscripted as "Application for Empanelment of Advocate for High Court, Administrative Tribunal, and other courts (District Courts, Lower courts, and DCDRF) in NE Region.

    • The last date of receiving Applications in the prescribed format along with documents supporting is 26.11.2021 till 16:00 Hours
