    United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites applications for recruitment of Programme Analyst at New Delhi Location.

    Name of the Post: Programme Analyst (Climate Change, Energy and Resilience)

    Essential Qualification and Experience

    • An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in environmental science, political/social science, social affairs, law, international relations, or related field.

    • At least 2 years of relevant experience at the national and/ or international level providing management and substantive advisory services with hands-on experience in design, monitoring, and evaluation of development projects in the field of climate change, energy, and resilience.

    • Excellent understanding of the challenges in the area of climate change, energy, and resilience in India including challenges related to the implementation of national commitments under UNFCCC, Sendai Framework, etc. including the Nationally Determined Contributions

    • Experience in working with quality assurance tools and results-based management models in a development context

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other relevant software packages; experience in handling web-based management systems and skilled in using social media
