Essential Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B./B.L.) from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India. Enrolment as an Advocate with a State Bar Council. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in legal practice, legal research, litigation or related legal work.
• Experience in criminal law, prosecution, investigation or court-related matters.
• Knowledge/experience in Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, Indian Forest Act, 1927, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and other relevant forest and environmental laws. Experience in drafting legal opinions, notices, petitions, affidavits, replies and other legal documents. Experience in handling wildlife crime/forest offence cases and coordination with investigating agencies and prosecution authorities. Knowledge of judicial precedents and case-law research, particularly relating to wildlife and environmental offences.
