Ombudsman (I&II) Vacancy At Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission

Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission invites application for the post of Ombudsman (I&II) for a maximum term of three years, who shall discharge the functions as such Ombudsman under subsection (7) of Section 42 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (Grievances Redressal Forum and Ombudsman) Regulations, 2004.

Age Limit: 62 Years
Emoluments: The Ombudsman shall get a monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs.1,00,000/-Besides, monthly House Rent of Rs.12,000/- is payable in case official accommodation is not made available or not availed during continuance as Ombudsman.
Essential Qualification and Experience
- The applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 25 years of experience in Legal/ Engineering/ Economics / Finance/ Industry/ Civil Service / Consumer Affairs or must be a person of eminence.
- The applicant must be able to read and write Odia.
- The applicant having experience in the electricity sector shall be preferred.
- The applicant should have excellent communication skills.
