    National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) invites application for the post of Senior Consultant (Legal), Senior Consultant (Laws Relating to Children), Consultant (Juvenile Justice) on contractual basis.

    Name of the Post: Senior Consultant (Legal), Senior Consultant (Laws Relating to Children), and Consultant (Juvenile Justice)

    No. of Post: 01 (One) each

    Remuneration: Rs. 1,10,000 (Consolidated)

    Essential Qualification and Experience

    Senior Consultant (Legal)

    • Master's degree in law (LLM) from any recognized University/or Institution in India or abroad, recognized by Bar Council of India.
    • Membership of Bar Council of India/ State Bar Council.
    • At least 7 years post qualification experience in handling legal matters relating to child rights/human rights in reputed institutions like National Human Rights Commission/National Commission for Women/State Commissions for Protection of Child Rights/International Forums and other such institutions/Non-Governmental Organisations etc; Or
    • At least 7 years' experience in undertaking legal practice in the Supreme Court/High Courts/District & Sessions Courts/ Tribunals etc. handling cases of child rights and connected matters.
    • Sound knowledge of Indian Judicial System and procedures in various Courts/Tribunals.
    • Experience in examining legal cases, preparation of reports, briefs etc.
    • Fluency in reading and writing English, Hindi and regional languages.
    • They should have expertise in preparing Study Report, Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures.
    • MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word and Internet / intranet environment.

    Senior Consultant (Laws Relating to Children)

    • Master's degree in law (LLM) or equivalent from a recognized University/or Institution in India or abroad recognized by Bar Council of India.
    • Should be well versed with Laws Relating to Children and have at least 3 years of working experience in the field of child rights.
    • Fluency in reading and writing English, Hindi and regional languages.
    • They should have expertise in preparing Study Report, Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Handling POCSO related matters.
    • MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word and Internet / intranet environment.

    Consultant (Juvenile Justice)

    • Postgraduate degree from a recognized University/Institution in Social Sciences / Social Work.
    • Desirable: LLB with specialisation preferably in the area of Juvenile Justice laws.
    • At least 7 years post qualification experience in the field of Juvenile Justice.
    • Fluency in reading and writing English, Hindi and regional languages.
    • They should have expertise in preparing Study Report, Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures.
    • MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word and Internet / intranet environment.
