    The Governor of Himachal Pradesh has appointed Advocate Shivendra Dwivedi as the Additional Advocate General (AAG) to represent the State in the Supreme Court of India. The appointment has been made under Rule 12 of the "Engagement of Law Officers for Supreme Court of India and High Court of Himachal Pradesh Rules, 2018" and takes effect immediately.

    With a practise of two decades, Dwivedi has done extensive work in civil and criminal litigation, dispute resolution and commercial matters. He is a member of the Bar Council of India and the Bar Associations of the Supreme Court and High Court of Delhi.
