Argus Partners Advises Acre ARC In Purchasing Distressed Loan Portfolios From HDFC

Argus Partners has advised Hong Kong based alternative investment fund Ares SSG-backed ARC, Assets Care and Reconstruction Enterprise (ACRE), on their purchase of stressed loan portfolios from HDFC Limited aggregating to Rs. 1,180 crore.
The portfolio includes loans to Gurugram based real estate developer, Vatika Group and Mumbai-based realty firm, Nirmal Lifestyle Kalyan.
The Argus Team consisted of Aastha and Nidhi Arya (Partners), Arjun Gopalakrishnan (Senior Associate) and Adhip Ray, Amisha Agarwal, Arth Singhal, Astha Singhania, Avin Sarkar, Gayatri Dabir, Rohan Mitra, Rohit Singh and Tweesha Gosar (Associates). The team was supported in the due diligence by Nishchala Maruvada and Sakshi Sharma (Associates).
