Kochhar & Co. Advises ReNew In A Partnership With PETRONAS, A Malaysian Headquartered Global Energy Group

Kochhar & Co. has announce their representation of ReNew Group, one of India's largest renewable energy companies in its partnership with PETRONAS’ clean energy subsidiary, Gentari. Pursuant to the transaction, Gentari acquired a minority equity stake in ReNew’s 403 MW utility scale Peak Power Project.
The Kochhar Delhi (NCR) team comprising of Senior Partners Pradeep Ratnam and Chandrashekhar Tampi, Principal Associate Samad Ali, Senior Associate Priyadarshinee Singh, and Associate Shivam Khanna advised ReNew on all aspects of the transaction including transaction structuring and drafting, negotiating and finalizing transaction documents and other legal formalities in relation to the pre-closing and post-closing aspects of the transaction.
