Solicis Lex Advisory were appointed Advocates and Solicitors to Shreenagar Sector 8 Co-op Housing Societies Federation, one of the largest upcoming Redevelopment Project adjoining Mumbai in Thane District. This federation comprises of approximately 29 Co-operative Societies and is widely spread across 32,471.64 Sq meters plot area.
The tendering process will start soon and the Redevelopment shall be for approx. 9,00,000 sq feet minimum. Top Developers from the country will be invited through a closed tendering system. The society has appointed Arch Nikhil Dixit as Project Management Consultant (PMC).
While speaking to Live Law, Managing Partner Adv Ameet Mehta and Senior Partner and Solicitor Amisha Shah stated that "Our expertise of successfully completing over 200 redevelopment projects in country as legal advisors and having predominantly represented societies gave us an edge. Also the society took a view that Solicis Lex was part of RERA drafting committee and their representative points which were taken by the then committee under chairmanship of Late Member of Parliament Shri Anil Dave, enabled Society to take a view of getting continuous guidance from Real Estate Experts like Solicis Lex".
While speaking to Managing Committee of Federation, they stated that "Considering the current scenario of the real estate market, undertaking a redevelopment of this magnitude will be a challenge for any developer nonetheless, we will be banking on expertise of Architect and Legal Advisors to work diligently and show their unparalleled support to the Federation''.
